Tan Lap Prison’s staff receives the Third Class “Fatherland Protection” Order

MPS - Leadership and staff of Tan Lap Detention Center under the Police Department for Management of Prisons, Compulsory Educational Centers and Reformatories held a ceremony on the morning of August 18, in Phu Tho province to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the unit and receive the Third Class “Fatherland Protection” Order.

Deputy Minister of Public Security Major General Le Van Tuyen,  Director of the Police Department for Management of Prisons, Compulsory Educational Centers and Reformatories Lieutenant General Le Minh Hung as well as generations of officers and soldiers working at Tan Lap Prison attended the event.
 
Addressing the event, Superintendent of Tan Lap Prison Senior Colonel Nguyen Khac Chinh said that the leadership and staff of the prison have always upheld the sense of responsibility in ensuring security, order and safety at the prison, and actively renovating methods to re-educate inmates, over the past years. 
 
Under the authority of the State President, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen presents the Third Class “Fatherland Protection” Order to representatives of Tan Lap Prison.

The staff has also tried their best to create a healthy and friendly educational environment for inmates to serve their sentences and make progress while properly implementing policies for inmates regarding food, clothing, accommodation, medical examination and treatment, and contacts with relatives in accordance with the law.
 
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen praised the leadership and staff of Tan Lap Prison for their good work results over the past time, and congratulated them on the noble award.
 
Head of the Department of Internal Affairs of Phu Tho province Nguyen Trung Kien presents Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee to officers for their outstanding achievements.

Regarding their tasks in the coming time, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen suggested that the Party Committee, the wardenship and the staff of Tan Lap Prison effectively implement Plan No. 18 issued by the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Politburo's Resolution No. 12 on promoting the building of a truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern People's Public Security Forces to meet all task requirements in the new situation. 
 
They should further improve the quality and efficiency of management and re-education of inmates, implement regimes and policies towards inmates in accordance with the laws, create a healthy, safe and humane environment for inmates to live and serve their sentences at the prison, and provide professional training for inmates so that they can become honest and useful citizens when being released.

At the ceremony, under the authority of the State President, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen presented the Third Class “Fatherland Protection” Order to the leadership and staff of Tan Lap Prison.
 
On this occasion, the Party Committee of Phu Tho province presented the banner to Tan Lap Prison while the Police Department for Management of Prisons, Compulsory Educational Centers and Reformatories and the Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to officers, soldiers and workers at Tan Lap Prison for their outstanding achievements.
